Built around Hornady's 40-grain V-Max polymer-tipped bullet, this load delivers exceptional accuracy and rapid fragmentation on varmints and small game. The V-Max design features a streamlined polymer tip that initiates expansion at 5.7x28mm velocities, making it highly effective for pest control and recreational shooting where overpenetration is a concern.

Loaded in boxer-primed brass cases, the SS197SR cycles reliably in FN Five-seveN pistols, PS90 carbines, and AR-57 uppers.
