Hornady's 460 S&W 200-grain FTX load delivers controlled expansion and deep penetration for dangerous game defense and hunting applications. The FTX (Flex Tip eXpanding) bullet features Hornady's patented elastomer tip that resists clogging in heavy clothing or hide while initiating reliable expansion on impact. This lighter-for-caliber bullet achieves higher velocities than traditional 460 S&W loads, providing flatter trajectory and reduced recoil while maintaining terminal effectiveness on large predators and medium game.

Designed for revolvers chambered in 460 S&W Magnum, this load uses nickel-plated cases for corrosion resistance and reliable feeding. Available in 20-round boxes or 200-round cases. Compatible with all firearms chambered for 460 S&W Magnum and can also be safely fired in 460 Rowland conversions when properly configured.
