CCI Quiet-22 delivers subsonic performance designed for precision shooting and pest control with minimal noise signature. The 40-grain lead round nose bullet generates approximately 75% less perceived noise than standard-velocity .22 LR loads, making it ideal for backyard target practice, small game hunting in noise-sensitive areas, and introductory shooting instruction. Muzzle velocity of 710 fps from a rifle barrel provides reliable cycling in bolt-action and single-shot firearms while maintaining accuracy at close to moderate ranges.

This load is optimized for bolt-action rifles and will not cycle most semi-automatic firearms. CCI primes each round with non-corrosive, clean-burning priming compounds to minimize fouling. The lead round nose bullet provides reliable feeding and adequate terminal performance on small pests and varmints within appropriate range limits.
