The Aero Precision Pro Series Nitrided Bolt Carrier Group is a complete M16-profile BCG designed for reliable operation in AR-15 rifles chambered in 5.56 NATO or .223 Remington. This is a direct replacement for standard mil-spec BCGs and offers improved surface hardness and corrosion resistance over phosphate finishes. Shooters upgrade to nitrided BCGs for easier cleaning, reduced friction, and long-term durability under high round counts.

The carrier and bolt are treated with a nitriding process that hardens the steel throughout rather than applying a surface coating, resulting in a slick, dark finish that resists wear and carbon buildup. Gas key is properly staked per mil-spec. This is a drop-in component for standard AR-15 lower and upper receivers—no gunsmithing required. Includes ejector, extractor, cam pin, and firing pin assembly.
