Armaspec Stealth Recoil Spring H (G4) – AR-15 Buffer System

The Armaspec Stealth Recoil Spring H (G4) replaces the traditional buffer and buffer spring in AR-15 pattern rifles with a self-contained recoil management system. Designed to reduce felt recoil, eliminate buffer rattle, and smooth out the cycling action, this drop-in upgrade uses captured spring technology that requires no additional parts or modifications. The H weight configuration provides increased mass for improved recoil control in mid-weight builds and standard 5.56 NATO or .223 Remington chamberings.

Constructed with heat-treated steel components and a polymer outer housing, the G4 generation features improved spring retention and durability over earlier versions. Installation is straightforward—remove the stock buffer and spring, insert the Stealth Recoil Spring assembly, and reassemble. No gunsmithing required. The unit is self-lubricating and maintenance-free, eliminating the need for buffer tube greasing.
