Armaspec Stealth Recoil Spring H2 G4 – AR-15

The Armaspec Stealth Recoil Spring (SRS) replaces the standard buffer and spring system in AR-15 rifles with a captured spring design that reduces bolt carrier bounce and eliminates buffer spring noise. The H2 weight configuration provides increased reciprocating mass similar to a standard H2 buffer, making it well-suited for mid-length and carbine gas systems with suppressed or unsuppressed fire. This results in smoother cycling and less felt recoil compared to the standard mil-spec setup.

The Generation 4 model features a proprietary multi-spring captured design that installs directly into the lower receiver without modification. The system is manufactured from high-grade steel with a corrosion-resistant finish. Installation is drop-in and requires no permanent alteration to the firearm—simply remove the existing buffer and spring, insert the SRS into the buffer tube, and reassemble.
