The Battle Arms Development Workhorse is a complete 5.56 NATO upper receiver assembly designed for mil-spec AR-15 lower receivers. This 16-inch configuration delivers reliable performance for tactical applications, competition, or general-purpose use. The upper features BAD's ambidextrous charging handle for seamless left- or right-handed operation.

Constructed from 7075-T6 aluminum with a black hardcoat anodized finish for corrosion resistance. The complete assembly includes upper receiver, barrel, handguard, charging handle, and bolt carrier group—ready to install on any mil-spec AR-15 lower. Installation requires standard AR-15 assembly tools and basic armorer knowledge. Headspace is factory-verified.
