Battle Arms Development Enhanced Bolt Catch – AR-15/AR-10

The Battle Arms Development Enhanced Bolt Catch replaces the mil-spec bolt catch on AR-15 and AR-10 platforms with a wider, more accessible paddle for faster magazine changes and bolt lock manipulation. The enlarged surface area makes it easier to lock the bolt back during administrative reloads or when performing press checks, especially with gloves or under stress.

Machined from hardened steel with a black finish, this bolt catch installs using standard AR-15 lower receiver pins and requires no permanent modification. Drop-in installation takes minutes with a punch and hammer. The serrated paddle provides positive contact without snagging gear.
