Badger Ordnance C1 Charging Handle – AR-15

The Badger Ordnance C1 Charging Handle is an enhanced charging handle designed for AR-15 platform rifles. It replaces the standard mil-spec charging handle with a reinforced design that provides a larger surface area and improved grip for faster, more positive manipulation under stress or with gloved hands. The ambidextrous latch configuration allows shooters to operate the charging handle from either side of the receiver, making it particularly useful for left-handed shooters or when performing support-side transitions.

Machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and finished in hardcoat anodized black, the C1 is built to withstand hard use while remaining lightweight. Installation is drop-in and requires no gunsmithing—simply remove the factory charging handle and install the C1 in its place following standard AR-15 field-stripping procedures. The latch mechanism is spring-loaded and self-contained within the body of the handle.
