This Ballistic Advantage 18-inch SPR profile barrel is built for precision work at extended ranges with 5.56 NATO and .223 Remington chamberings. The Special Purpose Rifle (SPR) profile provides a balance of rigidity and weight management, making it well-suited for designated marksman setups, long-range target shooting, and varmint hunting where accurate fire beyond typical carbine distances is required. The Ops 12 designation indicates a rifle-length gas system that reduces felt recoil and improves cycling reliability with a wide range of ammunition weights.

The barrel features a .750-inch gas block journal and is threaded 1/2x28 TPI for standard AR-15 muzzle devices.
