The Black Rain Ordnance MUR-2 upper receiver is a standalone forged upper designed for .223 Remington/5.56 NATO builds on the AR-15 platform. This is a complete upper receiver assembly ready to accept your choice of barrel, handguard, and bolt carrier group. The flat-top configuration provides a full-length Picatinny rail for optics mounting with maximum flexibility in eye relief and sight placement.

Constructed from 7075-T6 aluminum with a Type III hard coat anodized finish in black. The MUR-2 features a M4 feed ramp profile for reliable feeding with modern ammunition and magazines. Includes ejection port cover and forward assist assembly installed. Requires separate bolt carrier group, barrel assembly, and handguard to complete. Compatible with standard AR-15 lower receivers. Installation requires basic AR-15 assembly tools and knowledge of proper headspace verification.
