The Butler Creek Shotgun Plug limits magazine capacity to comply with waterfowl hunting regulations that restrict shotguns to three shells. This universal plug fits both 12-gauge and 20-gauge shotguns with 2.75-inch or 3-inch chambers, blocking the magazine tube to hold only two rounds plus one in the chamber.

Constructed from durable polymer, the plug installs quickly without tools—simply unload the shotgun, remove the magazine cap, and insert the plug into the magazine tube before reassembling. Designed to stay in place during normal hunting use but removes easily when full capacity is legal. Lightweight and corrosion-resistant for years of field use.
