CMMG AR15 Crush Washer 1/2" – AR-15 Muzzle Device Installation

The CMMG AR15 Crush Washer is a single-use timing washer designed to properly index and secure muzzle devices on AR-15 barrels with 1/2"-28 threading. When installing flash hiders, compensators, or muzzle brakes, this crush washer compresses during torquing to achieve correct alignment while creating a gas-tight seal between the muzzle device and barrel shoulder.

Manufactured from steel, this washer is intended for one-time use and should be replaced each time a muzzle device is removed and reinstalled. Installation requires a muzzle device wrench and armorer's wrench or barrel vise. Proper torque (typically 15-20 ft-lbs, consult your muzzle device specifications) ensures the washer compresses evenly without over-stressing barrel threads.
