Daniel Defense M4A1 Complete Upper Receiver 5.56 NATO 14.5" Pinned/Welded FDE

The Daniel Defense M4A1 Upper Receiver delivers a factory-assembled 5.56 NATO configuration with a 14.5-inch cold hammer-forged barrel, pinned and welded muzzle device to meet the 16-inch legal requirement. Finished in Mil-Spec+ Cerakote FDE, this upper drops onto any mil-spec AR-15 lower receiver. The M4A1 profile barrel features a 1:7 twist rate optimized for 62-77 grain projectiles and a carbine-length gas system for reliable function with standard and suppressed fire.

Machined from 7075-T6 aluminum with a Type III hard-coat anodized upper receiver and Daniel Defense's proprietary Cerakote finish on external components. Upper includes a pinned low-profile gas block, Daniel Defense bolt carrier group, charging handle, and RIS II M-LOK handguard. No sights included. Installation requires only standard AR-15 lower receiver pins—no gunsmithing needed.
