The Daniel Defense M4V7 upper receiver assembly delivers a complete 5.56 NATO upper in a 16-inch configuration, designed for direct installation on mil-spec AR-15 lower receivers. This upper features a mid-length gas system for reduced recoil and improved reliability, paired with Daniel Defense's M-LOK compatible handguard for modular accessory mounting. The cold hammer-forged, chrome-lined barrel provides extended service life and maintains accuracy across thousands of rounds.

Machined from 7075-T6 aluminum with a mil-spec Type III hard coat anodized finish in black, this upper includes an assembled bolt carrier group and charging handle. The M4 feed ramp extension ensures reliable feeding with a wide range of ammunition. The continuous top rail allows for co-witnessed optic mounting. No gunsmithing required—installs on any mil-spec AR-15 lower receiver with standard takedown pins.
