The Dead Air Armament KeyMo GOV Flash Hider is a dual-purpose muzzle device that serves as both a standalone flash suppressor and a quick-detach suppressor mount for KeyMo-compatible suppressors. Designed for 6mm/.223/5.56 rifles with 1/2x28 threads, this flash hider reduces muzzle flash while providing a solid, repeatable mounting interface for Dead Air suppressors using the KeyMo system. The GOV (Government) profile features a longer body than standard flash hiders to optimize gas disruption and ensure proper suppressor indexing.

Constructed from heat-treated steel with a durable black oxide finish, the KeyMo GOV Flash Hider installs on standard AR-15 barrels and other rifles chambered in .223/5.56 or 6mm cartridges with 1/2x28 threading. The flash hider includes a crush washer for proper timing and tensioning. When paired with a KeyMo-equipped suppressor, the system allows for rapid attachment and removal without tools. Note: use of this device as a suppressor mount requires an NFA-registered suppressor and compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
