Faxon Firearms 5.56 M16 BCG Chameleon – AR-15/M16 Compatible

The Faxon Firearms 5.56 M16 BCG Chameleon is a complete bolt carrier group machined to M16 profile specifications for AR-15 and M16 pattern rifles chambered in 5.56 NATO/.223 Remington. The full-auto M16 profile provides additional mass for smoother cycling and improved reliability, even in semi-automatic firearms. This BCG features Faxon's chameleon PVD coating, which offers exceptional hardness and lubricity for reduced friction and extended service life. Designed as a direct replacement for factory bolt carrier groups, it restores function in worn rifles or serves as an upgrade for improved surface durability.

Manufactured from 8620 steel (carrier) and Carpenter 158 steel (bolt), this BCG is properly staked, MPI tested, and HPT tested. The chameleon finish provides superior corrosion resistance and ease of cleaning compared to phosphate-coated carriers. Installation is drop-in—no gunsmithing required. The bolt is shot-peened for stress relief and includes a properly staked gas key with Grade 8 fasteners.
