The Faxon Firearms 5.56 M16 BCG features a titanium nitride (TiN) coating that reduces friction and resists corrosion better than standard phosphate finishes. This full-auto profile bolt carrier group is designed for AR-15 and M16 platforms chambered in 5.56 NATO/.223 Remington, providing reliable cycling in both semi-automatic and select-fire applications. The TiN coating's gold finish also makes carbon fouling easier to clean, reducing maintenance time between range sessions.

Machined from 8620 steel with a 9310 steel bolt, this BCG is MPI tested and shot-peened for enhanced durability. The titanium nitride coating is applied through a PVD process, creating a hard, slick surface that extends component life. Installation is straightforward drop-in for AR-15 upper receivers—no gunsmithing required. Gas key is properly staked per mil-spec standards.
