Fortis K1 Enhanced End Plate ODG – AR-15/AR-10

The Fortis K1 Enhanced End Plate replaces the standard AR-15/AR-10 castle nut end plate with a low-profile design that includes an integrated quick-detach (QD) socket. This allows direct mounting of QD sling swivels without adding bulk or additional attachment points to the receiver. The enhanced end plate is useful for shooters who prefer a streamlined rear sling mount or want to eliminate the need for a QD-compatible receiver plate.

Machined from steel with an OD Green (ODG) finish, the K1 end plate installs between the castle nut and lower receiver using standard AR-pattern buffer tube threading. Installation requires removal of the existing castle nut and buffer tube, a process that demands proper tools and torque specs. A staking tool or thread locker is recommended to prevent loosening under recoil.
