The FailZero EXO Bolt Assembly is a direct replacement for AR-15 and M16 rifle platforms, engineered to reduce friction and improve reliability under adverse conditions. This assembly addresses wear points in standard mil-spec bolts by applying FailZero's EXO nickel boron coating to critical friction surfaces, extending service life and reducing cleaning time between maintenance intervals.

The entire assembly is coated with electroless nickel boron, creating a self-lubricating surface that resists carbon buildup and corrosion. The coating penetrates metal pores rather than sitting on the surface, maintaining dimensional tolerances while providing permanent lubricity. Installation is drop-in for standard AR-15/M16 upper receivers with no fitting or gunsmithing required. Includes fully assembled bolt with extractor, ejector, cam pin, and firing pin.
