Geissele URG-I Near Clone 5.56 NATO 14.5" Upper Receiver – AR-15 Platform

The Geissele URG-I (Upper Receiver Group – Improved) Near Clone in 5.56 NATO with a 14.5" barrel delivers the configuration adopted by SOCOM for the M4A1 carbine improvement program. This upper receiver assembly is built for reliability under demanding conditions and fits standard AR-15 lower receivers. The black and Desert Dirt Color (DDC) finish combination provides corrosion resistance and visual distinction.

This complete upper features a cold hammer-forged barrel with mid-length gas system, a low-profile gas block, and Geissele's Super Modular Rail MK16 in DDC. The upper is assembled with mil-spec components and includes a charging handle and bolt carrier group. This is a complete drop-in assembly—no gunsmithing required. Note: The 14.5" barrel length requires permanent muzzle device attachment to meet the 16" minimum legal length for rifles, or registration as an SBR.
