LanTac Lamprey 5.56 Flash Hider/Compensator 1/2x28 – AR-15 Platform

The LanTac Lamprey is a hybrid flash hider and compensator designed for 5.56 NATO/.223 Remington AR-15 pattern rifles. This dual-purpose muzzle device reduces visible flash signature while simultaneously directing gas upward to mitigate muzzle rise during rapid or sustained fire. The Lamprey's long profile provides enhanced gas management compared to compact designs, making it well-suited for shooters who prioritize recoil control without sacrificing flash suppression.

Machined from heat-treated steel with a durable black finish, the Lamprey threads directly onto standard AR-15 barrels via 1/2x28 threading. Installation requires a crush washer or shim kit for proper timing (not included). The extended length and dual-port design make this device most effective for rifles with barrel lengths of 14.5 inches or longer. Note that this muzzle device may increase concussion to the shooter and those nearby compared to a standard A2 flash hider.
