This base is specifically designed for Remington 700 rifles and installs using the factory drilled and tapped holes on the receiver. The two-piece design allows for the use of iron sights or provides clearance for loading from the top when needed. Windage adjustment is made at the ring level. All necessary mounting screws are included.
