Each 3-inch hull is loaded with 1 5/8 oz of FS Lead — a specialized payload combining Federal's proven Flitecontrol wad with a mix of standard pellets and patented FliteStopper lead. The FliteStopper pellets feature a rear-deployed cutting petals that increase trauma and stop runners, while the standard lead maintains deep penetration. This hybrid approach creates consistent lethality from 20 to 50 yards on pheasants, grouse, and other tough upland game.

The Flitecontrol wad keeps the shot column tight through the barrel and breaks away cleanly at the muzzle for tight, consistent patterns with minimal flyers.
