The PWS Enhanced Buffer Tube Gen 2 addresses a common failure point in AR-pattern rifles with an improved ratchet lock castle nut system that eliminates staking requirements. The enhanced design provides a more secure interface between buffer tube and lower receiver, reducing the chance of castle nut loosening under sustained fire or hard use.

Machined from 7075-T6 aluminum with a mil-spec diameter, this buffer tube features PWS's proprietary ratchet lock castle nut that mechanically locks into place without requiring staking punches or armorer's tools. The Gen 2 version includes anti-rotation tabs and improved thread engagement. Compatible with all mil-spec AR-15 and M4 buffer systems and adjustable stocks. Includes ratchet lock castle nut and end plate.
