The Real Avid Carbon Boss AR15 is a purpose-built scraper tool designed to remove hardened carbon buildup from the bolt carrier group without solvents or excessive brushing. Its machined surfaces match the geometry of AR15 bolt components, letting you scrape away fouling from the bolt tail, cam pin track, and firing pin hole quickly and without damaging Parkerized or phosphate finishes.
This tool targets the areas where carbon accumulates fastest on an AR15—the bolt face, bolt tail, and carrier key. Includes integrated picks and scrapers for the firing pin channel and gas rings. Works with standard mil-spec AR15 bolt carrier groups chambered in .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO.
