Rise Armament Low Mass BCG .223/5.56 NIB – AR-15/M16 Bolt Carrier Group

The Rise Armament Low Mass BCG reduces reciprocating mass to decrease felt recoil and improve cyclic rate in competition AR-15 platforms. By removing material from non-critical areas of the carrier body, this bolt carrier group weighs approximately 25% less than a standard mil-spec BCG, allowing for faster lock time and reduced muzzle movement during rapid fire. The reduced mass also decreases bolt bounce and carrier tilt, contributing to more consistent accuracy in 3-gun and precision rifle applications.

Constructed from 8620 steel with a machined carrier body and shot-peened bolt, this BCG features a Nickel Boron (NIB) coating on all contact surfaces. The NIB finish provides superior lubricity and corrosion resistance compared to phosphate, reducing friction and simplifying cleaning. This is a drop-in upgrade for any AR-15 or M16 chambered in .223 Remington or 5.56 NATO. Gas system tuning may be required for reliable function with the reduced mass, particularly in carbine-length systems or suppressed firearms. Includes staked gas key and extractor with O-ring.
