The SilencerCo ASR Flash Hider serves dual purposes: reducing muzzle flash when shooting unsuppressed and providing a quick-attach mounting point for ASR-compatible suppressors. The ASR (Active Spring Retention) system uses a spring-loaded mechanism that locks the suppressor onto the mount with a simple twist, then releases with a squeeze of the suppressor's locking collar. This allows shooters to move suppressors between host firearms quickly without fumbling with ratchet mounts or indexing pins.

Machined from heat-treated stainless steel with a matte black nitride finish, this flash hider is built to handle the gas erosion and carbon buildup that comes with suppressed shooting. The M13.5x1LH left-hand thread pitch is common on many European 9mm pistol-caliber carbines and select submachine gun platforms.
