Machined from 6061-T6 aluminum with a Type III hard-anodized finish for corrosion and wear resistance. Installation requires removal of the factory backstrap and replaces it with the magwell's integrated backstrap—no permanent modification to the frame. Drop-in installation with included hardware; basic hand tools required. The magwell adds approximately 0.5 inches to grip length and may require extended magazine baseplates for flush seating.
