The SOLGW Castle Nut secures your buffer tube to the lower receiver on AR-15 and AR-10 platform rifles. This component threads onto the receiver extension (buffer tube) and locks it in place, preventing rotation under recoil and ensuring consistent alignment of your stock or brace. Replacing a worn or damaged castle nut restores proper tension and eliminates unwanted movement in your buffer system.

Machined from steel with a manganese phosphate finish for corrosion resistance and durability. Installation requires a castle nut wrench and armorer's tool to properly stake the nut to the receiver end plate, a critical step to prevent loosening during use. This is a drop-in replacement part, but proper staking requires basic armorer knowledge and tools.
