The Sons of Liberty Gun Works LOYAL 9 A5 Receiver Extension delivers optimized buffer system tuning for AR-15 platforms. The A5 system uses a rifle-length buffer tube with carbine-style stock compatibility, providing smoother cycling and reduced felt recoil by increasing buffer travel distance. This configuration improves carrier speed control and can significantly reduce bolt bounce, making it particularly effective for suppressed or overgassed rifles.

Machined from 7075-T6 aluminum with a mil-spec black anodized finish, this receiver extension features standard castle nut threads and accepts all mil-spec carbine stocks. Installation requires a standard AR-15 armorer's wrench and castle nut tool. Note that A5 systems require A5-specific buffer weights and standard AR-15 rifle-length buffer springs—carbine buffers and springs will not function properly with this extension.
