The Spike's Tactical ST-9X 9mm Heavy Buffer is engineered to reduce bolt bounce and smooth cycling in AR-pattern pistol caliber carbines chambered in 9mm. The additional weight helps control the faster recoil impulse of blowback 9mm systems, minimizing felt recoil and improving follow-up shot speed. This buffer is particularly effective in suppressed configurations where increased back pressure can cause cycling issues.

Machined to mil-spec dimensions, the ST-9X features hardened tungsten weights for maximum density and durability. It installs directly into standard carbine buffer tubes without modification. Compatible with most AR-9 lower receivers and 9mm upper assemblies using Glock-style or Colt-pattern magazines. Finished in manganese phosphate for corrosion resistance.
