The Spike's Tactical ST-T1 Tungsten Heavy Buffer reduces felt recoil and improves cycling reliability in AR-15 carbine-length gas systems. The added weight slows the bolt carrier group's rearward travel, resulting in smoother operation and reduced muzzle rise during rapid fire. This buffer is particularly effective in overgassed systems or when shooting suppressed.

Constructed with tungsten weights instead of steel, this buffer achieves greater mass in the standard carbine buffer body length. The ST-T1 weighs approximately 5.4 ounces, heavier than standard carbine buffers but lighter than an H3. It installs directly into mil-spec carbine buffer tubes with no modifications required.
