The blade is SPY27 stainless steel, a high-carbon proprietary alloy developed by Spyderco for edge retention and corrosion resistance. The handle is injection-molded fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) with bi-directional texturing for secure grip in wet conditions. Carries tip-up via a four-position wire pocket clip.
