The Strike Industries Extended Charging Handle Latch replaces the factory latch on mil-spec AR-15 charging handles to provide a larger, easier-to-reach surface for manipulation. Designed for shooters who want faster, more positive charging handle operation without replacing the entire assembly, this extended latch reduces the chance of short-stroking under stress and makes support-hand charging more natural. It's particularly useful when running optics or scopes that sit close to the charging handle.

Machined from steel with a black finish for corrosion resistance. Installation is straightforward with basic tools—punch out the factory roll pin, swap the latch, and reinstall the pin. No gunsmithing required, though care must be taken not to damage the roll pin channel. Compatible with standard mil-spec AR-15 charging handles; not compatible with ambidextrous or proprietary charging handle designs.
