SureFire SOCOM Flash Hider 5.56mm 1/2x28 – AR-15 Muzzle Device

The SureFire SOCOM Flash Hider reduces muzzle flash signature while serving as a quick-detach mounting platform for SureFire SOCOM Series suppressors. Precision-machined with asymmetrical port geometry, it effectively disperses combustion gases to minimize visible flash without excessive concussion or side blast. This makes it an excellent choice for shooters who want flash suppression with the option to add a suppressor later.

Constructed from heat-treated stainless steel with a manganese phosphate finish for corrosion resistance and durability. Installs with standard armorer's tools and includes a crush washer for proper timing and indexing. The design allows for secure suppressor attachment while maintaining zero when the suppressor is removed and reattached. Note: This version features 5/8x24 threading, which is less common for 5.56mm—verify your barrel threading before ordering. Standard 5.56mm AR-15 barrels typically use 1/2x28 threads.
