Timney 49'er Safety Selector – AR-15/AR-10 – Black

The Timney 49'er Safety Selector is a precision-machined ambidextrous safety designed for AR-15 and AR-10 platforms. It replaces factory mil-spec safeties with a 90-degree throw design that provides positive engagement and tactile feedback in both safe and fire positions. Shooters upgrading to this selector gain true ambidextrous operation without compromising reliability or introducing unnecessary bulk to the lower receiver.

Machined from steel with a black oxide finish, the 49'er installs as a drop-in replacement for standard AR safeties. The levers are reversible and can be configured for left- or right-hand operation, or removed entirely on either side for single-sided use. Installation requires basic armorer tools and familiarity with lower receiver disassembly. No permanent modifications to the firearm are required.
