The Tipton DCFR 36" cleaning rod uses a carbon fiber shaft to eliminate the risk of bore damage from embedded grit that can scratch steel rods. Carbon fiber won't pick up abrasive particles during cleaning, making it safer for precision barrels and match-grade rifles. The 36-inch length provides full-stroke cleaning from breech to muzzle on most bolt-action rifles and AR-15 platform firearms.

This cleaning rod features a ball bearing handle that rotates freely with rifling twist, preventing rod torque from affecting patch or brush alignment. The rotating handle also reduces operator fatigue during repetitive passes. Compatible with standard 8-32 threaded brushes, jags, and cleaning accessories.
