The Trijicon MRO SD (Miniature Rifle Optic – Sealed Device) is a sealed red dot sight with a 2 MOA dot, designed for fast target acquisition on carbines, shotguns, and patrol rifles. The low mount configuration positions the optic for lower 1/3 co-witness with AR-15 iron sights, making it well-suited for both close-quarters and general-purpose use. Battery access is external, eliminating the need to remove the optic for power source changes.

The MRO SD features fully multi-coated lenses for optimal light transmission and clarity across varied lighting conditions. Eight brightness settings—including two night-vision compatible modes—adapt to low-light or NVG operations. The housing is machined from forged 7075-T6 aluminum, and the optic is waterproof to 30 meters. The mount is Trijicon's standard low-profile design with a Picatinny clamp. Runs on a single CR2032 battery with a 5-year continuous runtime at mid-brightness.
