The Trijicon RMR Type 2 is a compact reflex sight designed for pistol slide mounting, AR-15 co-witness setups, and general-purpose tactical applications. This adjustable LED model features a 3.25 MOA red dot reticle—ideal for precision shooting at defensive and competition distances while maintaining enough visibility for rapid target acquisition. User-adjustable brightness controls allow adaptation to varying light conditions, from bright daylight to low-light environments. The Flat Dark Earth finish provides corrosion resistance and blends with common firearm colorways.

Housed in a forged aluminum body, the Type 2 features improved electronics over the original RMR, including better battery contacts and a recessed adjustments area to protect controls from impact. The sight uses a common CR2032 battery accessible from the top without removing the optic from the firearm. Patented housing geometry diverts impacts away from the LED, while the sight window is sealed to be waterproof to 20 meters. Fits standard RMR mounting footprints used by most pistol slide cuts and aftermarket mounts.
