Machined from aircraft-grade aluminum with a flat black anodized finish, the Firepower Base Pad installs without modification to the magazine tube. The anodized surface resists wear and corrosion while adding minimal weight. Installation requires disassembly of the magazine—basic mechanical skill and proper spring compression tools are recommended to safely install and tension-test the extended spring configuration.
