Constructed from aircraft-grade aluminum with a Type III hard-anodized matte black finish, this handguard features continuous Picatinny top rail and M-LOK slots at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions for modular accessory mounting. The free-float design means the handguard attaches only to the upper receiver via a steel barrel nut, never touching the barrel itself—critical for consistent accuracy and heat dissipation. Installation requires a barrel nut wrench and basic armorer tools. Compatible with standard AR-15 pattern upper receivers.
