The extended length works exclusively with the VLTOR A5 receiver extension system to create smoother bolt carrier travel and more consistent lockup.

Machined from stainless steel with precision-balanced internal weights, this buffer requires the VLTOR A5 receiver extension (sold separately) and will not function in standard carbine buffer tubes. Installation is straightforward—simply insert into the A5 tube with your preferred action spring. Compatible with mil-spec AR-15 bolt carrier groups and lower receivers.
