VLTOR A5 Spring and Buffer Kit – AR-15 Rifles

The VLTOR A5 Spring and Buffer Kit is designed to optimize the recoil impulse and cycling characteristics of AR-15 rifles by extending the buffer system length between standard carbine and rifle configurations. This system reduces felt recoil, smooths the bolt carrier group's rearward travel, and can improve reliability with both suppressed and unsuppressed firearms. Shooters upgrading from standard carbine buffer systems will notice a more controlled recoil pulse and reduced carrier bounce.

The kit includes a proprietary A5 buffer and extended carbine spring engineered to work together in VLTOR A5-length receiver extensions (sold separately). The A5 buffer is precision-machined from high-grade materials with a durable finish. Installation requires an A5 receiver extension tube; standard carbine tubes will not accommodate this system. No gunsmithing required once the appropriate receiver extension is installed.
