The VLTOR IMOD buttstock delivers improved cheek weld and enhanced recoil management compared to standard carbine stocks. Its extended cheek rest provides consistent eye alignment with optics, while the angled rubber recoil pad distributes energy more effectively during rapid strings of fire. The integrated battery storage compartment keeps CR123 batteries secure for optics or weapon lights.

Machined from reinforced polymer with a textured exterior, the IMOD fits all mil-spec carbine buffer tubes and installs with standard components. The distinctive "clubfoot" storage compartment is accessed via a friction-fit door and accommodates two CR123 batteries. Accepts QD sling swivel attachments on both sides. No wobble—tight lockup at all six buffer tube positions.
