VLTOR MUR-1A MOD Upper Receiver – Billet, M4 Feed Ramps, Flat-Top AR-15

The VLTOR MUR-1A Modular Upper Receiver is a precision-machined billet upper designed for AR-15 platform builds requiring a solid foundation. Machined from 7075-T6 aluminum, this flat-top upper features M4 feed ramps for reliable feeding with modern ammunition and accepts standard AR-15 bolt carrier groups and barrels. The MUR design eliminates the forward assist and shell deflector, reducing weight and providing a clean, ambidextrous profile suitable for left- and right-handed shooters.

The upper is finished in Black Anodized for corrosion resistance and includes a brass deflector. Because the MUR uses a non-standard profile, it requires a proprietary handguard mounting system or free-float handguards that clamp directly to the barrel nut. No barrel, bolt carrier group, charging handle, or handguard is included. Installation requires standard AR-15 upper receiver tools and headspace verification.
