This kit includes alignment bars and lapping compound to diagnose and correct ring misalignment before mounting your scope.

The alignment bars identify vertical and horizontal misalignment between ring halves. The lapping compound and lapping bar remove material from the ring surface to create a true, even contact area that distributes clamping force uniformly across the scope tube.
