The larger button surface provides easier thumb contact when wearing gloves or in adverse conditions, making it a practical upgrade for defensive shotguns, competition guns, or hunting firearms used in cold weather.

Machined from steel with a durable blued finish, this drop-in safety installs without modification to the receiver. The button retains the factory cross-bolt mechanism while providing approximately 50% more surface area than the standard Remington safety. Installation requires only basic tools and familiarity with shotgun disassembly.
