The WMD Guns NIB-X Upper Receiver is a stripped 5.56 NATO/.223 Rem upper designed for AR-15 pattern builds. This forged 7075-T6 aluminum upper arrives with WMD's proprietary NIB-X coating applied to all internal and external surfaces, providing permanent lubricity and corrosion resistance far exceeding standard anodizing or phosphate finishes.

The NIB-X nickel boron coating reduces friction and wear while making carbon fouling wipe away with minimal effort. This stripped upper includes M4 feed ramps and requires a separately purchased bolt carrier group, charging handle, handguard, and barrel assembly. Standard mil-spec dimensions ensure compatibility with all AR-15 lower receivers and aftermarket components. Upper arrives ready for custom build configuration.
