The Yankee Hill Machine 9mm Bolt Buffer protects your AR-9 lower receiver from bolt impact damage while reducing felt recoil and cycling noise. Installed between the bolt carrier and buffer, this sacrificial component absorbs shock that would otherwise transfer directly to your receiver's buffer tube threads and rear takedown pin area—common wear points in pistol-caliber carbines.

Machined from impact-resistant polymer, the YHM bolt buffer installs in seconds without tools or permanent modification. Simply place it over your existing buffer before inserting into the buffer tube. Compatible with standard 9mm AR pistol and carbine builds using Colt-pattern or Glock-pattern magazines. Inspect periodically and replace when compression or deformation is visible.
